Red pot

An artist friend suggested that I try painting using multiple layers… I’m going to do it more as it helps practice shadows and results in richer colors.

Daytime landscape

Same imaginary scene as before but daylight attempt.

Orange and leaf

First leaf attempt… hard to know how much detail to use.

Wood box

Tried to make the box look like wood by using two shades of brown.  Threw the tape measure in to attempt reflections.

Sunset landscape

Learned about color during sunsets.  Hard to paint imaginary settings.
