At 2 p.m. today, I thought I was short one painting for 2016 so I cranked out this one of my nephew, Theo.  I now see that I did 53 paintings… So consider this a bonus.  The angles of the window frame shows the challenge of painting from a photo as the eye sees it vertically yet a camera doesn’t.

After painting this, my model friend was concerned that it was too revealing and requested some redaction 😉  I hope to practice putting on semi-transparent drapery later.
