I’m working on a more elaborate painting based on Botticelli Birth Of Venus and wanted to share a photo of it in progress. The arms are the most fully developed with and extra layer or two more than the rest. The lines in the leaves are there as markers so I better know how to proceed. I tend to paint the the basic shapes and then layer on more details with adjustments. One advantage of this is I don’t worry too much about making each layer perfect as can edit later.
