Another AI generated model.
With the advent of AI that’s able to convert a text description into an image, I prompted it to generate some virtual models. The following few posts will be some paintings of them.
Just a small part of the original “A young girl defending herself against love”. The original is at the Getty.
Instead of working on a new painting, reworked one from a couple of years ago to update the face and clothing colors.
My dad passed on earlier this year. Here is how I remember him… the groove master.
Looks like I forgot to upload this one from 2016. I recently put a varnish on it to make the darks deeper and put a frame on it. I sometimes find that I like my old paintings more as I forget that I painted them.
I’m working on a more elaborate painting based on Botticelli Birth Of Venus and wanted to share a photo of it in progress. The arms are the most fully developed with and extra layer or two more than the rest. The lines in the leaves are there as markers so I better know how to proceed. I tend to paint the the basic shapes and then layer on more details with adjustments. One advantage of this is I don’t worry too much about making each layer perfect as can edit later.
